Call For Tutorials

The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) invites experts and professionals to submit tutorial proposals for presentation at the 2026 IEEE PES International Meeting. The tutorials will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain in-depth knowledge on cutting-edge topics related to Global Power and Energy Systems Resilience. These sessions aim to address the challenges and innovations in building resilient, adaptive, and sustainable power and energy systems through interdisciplinary collaboration, technological advancements, and policy integrations.

Submissions are due 1 November 2025 and should be emailed to Prof. Siqi BU at [email protected].

Tutorial Requirements

  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • Technical Approval: All tutorials must receive prior approval from the relevant 2026 IEEE PES International Meeting Organizing Committee and Programme & Publications Committee.

Submission Guidelines

Each tutorial proposal should include the following information:
  • Title of the tutorial
  • Abstract/description (approximately 150 words)
  • Target audience
  • Prerequisites
  • Learning objectives
  • Course outline – including topics and time allocations
  • Presenter(s) name(s) and short biography (approximately 150 words per presenter)
  • Presenter(s) email address

Topics of Interest

Tutorial proposals should align with the overall theme of the conference and cover a broad spectrum of topics relevant to modern power and energy systems. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to the following.
  • Resilient and adaptive power grid infrastructures
  • Emerging technologies for energy generation, storage, and distribution
  • Cybersecurity and digital transformation in power systems
  • Integration of renewable energy and hybrid energy solutions
  • AI and machine learning applications in power system operations
  • Sustainable energy policies, markets, and regulatory frameworks
  • Advances in electrification and smart grid technologies
  • Education innovation in power and energy engineering for the new era

Presenter Guidelines

  • Presentations must be on the IEEE PES template. Presenter details and company logos may appear only on the first and last slides.
  • Presenters must agree to provide a PDF version of their slides for distribution via the IEEE PES Resource Center to registered attendees.

Submission Deadline

  • Proposals must be submitted by November 1, 2025.
  • All submissions will undergo a review process conducted by the 2026 IEEE PES International Meeting Organizing Committee and Programme & Publications Committee.
