Travel Funding Opportunity for PES Students

We are pleased to announce that limited funding is available to support students whose papers have been accepted for presentation.

What’s Covered

  • Contributions toward transportation, airfare, and accommodation, up to USD 1,200 per student.
  • Conference registration fees are not covered, as per IEEE PES policy.

Reimbursement Process

  • Support will be provided on a reimbursement basis via the Concur platform.
  • Attendees must submit a Concur expense report with valid receipts for all claimed expenses.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be enrolled as students at the time of the conference.
  • Applicants must be IEEE PES members in good standing.
  • Only students with accepted papers are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Please send an email to [email protected] with the following:

  1. Proof of paper acceptance (acceptance notification).
  2. A short letter explaining who you are, including your IEEE membership number.
  3. Proof of student status (student ID or official confirmation).
  4. An estimated travel and accommodation budget.

Important Dates

  • Application deadline: Thursday, 05 January 2026
  • Notification of results: Tuesday, 10 January 2026

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and eligible students will be notified once their support has been approved. We encourage all interested students to apply early.
